Hailing from the rugged landscapes of Northern Minnesota, I embarked on a journey with my family to the sun-drenched city of Pueblo during my formative years. Art has been an ever-present companion, woven into the tapestry of my life. It is the allure of watercolor that captivates me – a medium that challenges and tantalizes with its unpredictable nature, unveiling subtle hues that often defy expectation.

My artistic voyage has been enriched by the tutelage of various artists and workshops, as well as my time spent at Colorado State University in Pueblo. Though my academic pursuit ultimately led me down the path of nursing, the love for art and history remained steadfast.

Now, as a retired Nurse Practitioner, I revel in the freedom to immerse myself in the world of creativity once more. Nature's boundless beauty serves as a wellspring of inspiration, alongside the uninhibited, whimsical, and wondrous art crafted by my granddaughter's hand – a constant reminder of the joy that resides within the artistic realm.
